Team Trae Young alum Kieran Elliott has elected to stay close to home for college, committing to continue his playing career at the next level at West Texas A&M University.

West Texas announced Kieran’s commitment on Thursday, adding the native of nearby Lubbock to a strong class for the Canyon, Texas based Division II power.

“Kieran Elliott had a phenomenal prep career and we hope he will find continued success here at West Texas A&M University! Kieran is someone you want to have on your team as he leads by example, plays extremely hard, team-orientated and is a winner. I feel very fortunate to be able to work with Kieran this coming season. He will be an integral part of our program the next four seasons!”
