The Team Trae Young 15U team won the adidas 3SSB Girls Circuit Championship in July and earlier this month, star Madi Hill got her flowers when she was named 15U Circuit MVP.

The scouts glowed about Madi’s emergence and play throughout the summer, including this write-up by Prep Girls Hoops:

“One of Oklahoma’s emerging 2027 stars. Hill always stands out with her nose for rebounds but has much more to her game. Was a key part of TTY’s halfcourt offense with dribble handoffs that set up teammates for scoring opportunities. She also looked for outlet opportunities, really good modern forward creation play overall. Is starting to have even better footwork on drives. And looked smooth and confident as a floor spacing threat. On defense, there’s even some promise with how she moved when switching onto guards. The arrow continues to point straight up for Hill.”

McKenzie Mathurin also added to her trophy case when she was named Second Team All Circuit while ranking eighth in points per possession and fifth among shotmakers.

Team Trae’s 17U teams dominated the statistical categories, ranking as the second best offense and defense in terms of points per possession.

All told it was an outstanding Circuit season for the Team Trae Girls, and one to build on.
