Maya Thompson, Maddi Stewart and McKenzie Mathurin recently competed in the annual Pangos All-American Camp in Carrollton, Texas.

The 100 players selected for the camp were divided into 10 teams of 10, each team named after a current WNBA franchise. Maya played for the Connecticut Sun, Maddi for the Las Vegas Aces and McKenzie played for the Dallas Wings.

Each of the girls made a huge impact for their respective teams and all three were selected to the Top 20 All-Star Game.

Maya was Top 10 in scoring, averaging 19 points per game to rank sixth among all players while adding 5.3 boards and 2.7 assists per game. She was also one of the leaders in minutes, averaging 35.3 per game. Her standout performance was a 30-point outing where she made 11-of-19 attempts from the field and added seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. She helped the Sun to a 2-1 mark in three games.

Maddi ranked Top 10 in both rebounds (9.0) and assists (3.7) per game while also posting 13 points per game and playing more than 34 minutes per contest. She posted a double-double in the opener against the Sparks and helped the Aces salvage a win in their third and final game of the week with 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks. Maddi also stood out in the All-Star game, recording seven points and five rebounds in 16 minutes.

McKenzie played in just one game, scoring 26 points with five rebounds and two assists in Dallas’ first game.
