Three Team Trae Young Girls Teams pulled up to Mansfield, Texas over the weekend and put on a clinic in team basketball at the Yellow Rose of Texas tournament presented by Premier Basketball.

The TTY 3SSB 17U team was dominant, picking up three wins, including two by more than 50 points. On Saturday, they began the weekend with a 71-16 win over ProSkills Houston. Keziah Lofton stood out to those in attendance.

Next up was the toughest game of the weekend for the 3SSB 17s, but they pulled out a four-point win over LoneStar Magic, 67-63.

In the finale, McKenzie Mathurn went off for 34 points in a 78-22 win over HG Elite.

Keziah, McKenzie and Seleh Harmon all got theirs in the three wins, impressing onlookers and scouts alike.

The TTY 17U 3SGB Team Seig squad also had a successful run in Mansfield, going 2-1 with their lone loss being by a single possession.

They began the weekend with a 56-33 win over Urban Heroes, and after a 70-67 loss to FAM Hoops 3SSB bounced back with a 76-35 win over PTA to close the tournament. Grace Jackson, La’Miyah Brown and Aliyah Duval all turned heads with their play.

It was also a phenomenal weekend for the TTY 16U 3SSB squad, as they too went unbeaten in Mansfield with three double-digit wins. They topped HG Elite 54-31, DFW Lady Magic 68-43 and ProSkills Houston 60-45. Among the many standouts were Johari Hall, Sami Sheaffer, Ky’Liin Johnson-Cooper and Brooklyn Scarborough.
