Three Team Trae Young Girls Teams pulled up to Mansfield, Texas over the weekend and put on a clinic in team basketball at the Yellow Rose of Texas tournament presented by Premier Basketball.
The TTY 3SSB 17U team was dominant, picking up three wins, including two by more than 50 points. On Saturday, they began the weekend with a 71-16 win over ProSkills Houston. Keziah Lofton stood out to those in attendance.
2025 super star @KeziahLofton32 is making it look easy with @TeamTraeYoungWB’s 17U 3SSB. She’s getting wherever she wants with her smooth gliding movement style, her quick second jump is big time around the rim, and is an unselfish decision maker in transition

A dominant performance fitting for a potential McDonald’s All American.@KeziahLofton32 was unstoppable off the dribble. Complete with a couple “don’t poke the bear” moments showing off her competitive drive to match her skills https://t.co/IEuHhxgbDO pic.twitter.com/0lhp69KM5x

Next up was the toughest game of the weekend for the 3SSB 17s, but they pulled out a four-point win over LoneStar Magic, 67-63.
That DUO was legit today! Great win ladies 🔥🔥 https://t.co/hlMnGQXqwP

How does @KeziahLofton32 let you know you're "too small" with just her play?

They began the weekend with a 56-33 win over Urban Heroes, and after a 70-67 loss to FAM Hoops 3SSB bounced back with a 76-35 win over PTA to close the tournament. Grace Jackson, La’Miyah Brown and Aliyah Duval all turned heads with their play.
Fittingly for an Edmond North player @G_Jackson_2026, was seemingly always in the right place at right time for steals and putbacks. Also showed improved driving ability for @TeamTraeYoungWB’s 17U 3SGB squad pic.twitter.com/zfF3nhkaeG

Quick 2026 point guard La’Miyah Brown can get paint touches to score herself or set up teammates. While also have a very efficient perimeter shooting day for @TeamTraeYoungWB’s 17U 3SGB group pic.twitter.com/c8WtpoB5XJ

Great defensive tone setting and communicating from @AliyahDuval with aggressive defense for @TeamTraeYoungWB’s 3SGB team. They have steadily pulled ahead in the first half, with Duval’s impact being felt more and more

It was also a phenomenal weekend for the TTY 16U 3SSB squad, as they too went unbeaten in Mansfield with three double-digit wins. They topped HG Elite 54-31, DFW Lady Magic 68-43 and ProSkills Houston 60-45. Among the many standouts were Johari Hall, Sami Sheaffer, Ky’Liin Johnson-Cooper and Brooklyn Scarborough.
