The first weekend of May took Team Trae Young down to Birmingham, Alabama for the second session in the 2024 adidas 3SSB season and it was a chance to show out for Bryce Dixon and the TTY 16U team.
Bruce averaged 13.6 points per game over five games, three of them wins.
The TTY 16s lost their opener 74-70 to Indiana Elite despite a 15-point, five-assist, three-rebound, two steal effort from Dixon. But they bounced back in the second game of the day on Friday, defeating Gampoint 70-53 behind 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals from Bryce.

On Saturday, Team Trae opened the day with a dominant 57-36 win over Team Loaded. For the third straight game Bryce scored 15 points, and he added five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Later in the day on Saturday, Arkansas Hawks keyed in on Bryce, but he still got to the line six times and made all six free throws on his way to 12 points and six rebounds. Unfortunately, the Hawks prevailed 49-40.

Sunday’s weekend finale was a knock-down, drag-out battle won by TTY 51-48 as Bryce finished a strong weekend with 11 points.
