The first official tournament at the Young Family Athletic Center went down last weekend and Team Trae Young asserted dominance across four age groups at The Circuit’s Border War.

At 17U, TTY dressed two teams, a 3SSB and a 3SGB team and both teams went unbeaten. The 3SSB team picked up wins over Texas Dynamics (78-45) and Tarrant Elite (60-39).
Damario Adams and Carlsheon Young were named Circuit Top Performers for both games, totaling 26 and 25 points respectively. Jaylan Lawal also had a strong weekend with 11 points in the win over Texas Dynamics.

The 3SGB posted three wins, defeating San Antonio King Hoops (92-38), Team Nation East (72-48) and Team United Texas Black (72-64). Terrence Burri had a breakout game against SA King, scoring 23 points. He also added 16 in the win over Team Nation. DJ Stephens added 16 points against SA King and Nate Hidalgo had 15 points. Khie Brown scored 15 in the win over Team Nation.

The 3SSB team at 16U also went unbeaten, beating Oklahoma Wolfpack (58-15) and Team Nation East (74-51). Carter Chism led the way with 14 points against the Wolfpack and Caden Deffebaugh pitched in 12 points in the win over Team Nation.

Team Trae had four teams in action at 15U, and Team Trae Young Tulsa Black and Team Trae 3SGB both went unbeaten with three wins apiece. Tulsa Black defeated Team United Texas Black (68-21), Team Nation East 3SGB (62-45) and EA Hoopz (65-42). Aiden Hooper was named a Circuit Top Performer after scoring 18 points in the win over Team Nation and Julia Wilson scored 17 points to earn a Top Performer nod in the win over EA Hoopz.

The 3SGB team won over Southern Players Club (71-36), WTX Fam Elite (62-30) and EA Hoopz (81-75). TTY Tulsa Silver picked up a pair of wins over Project 94 (40-23) and TTG Elit3 (45-39) on the way to a 2-1 weekend, and TTY Tulsa Red defeated Nitro (45-43), going 1-2 overall.
For 14U, five total teams took the court repping Team Trae Young and all five went unbeaten. Led by Timothy Young, Team Trae Young 2029 beat Tarrant Elite (56-37) and Platinum Elite (71-50). Timothy totaled 36 points in the two games, including 22 against Platinum Elite.

Team Trae Young Ty defeated Nitro (66-12), AOH 2028 (72-19) and Tarrant Elite (66-19). Cameron Collins had a big weekend, with 22 points against AOH and 12 more against Nitro. QT Davis added 18 against AOH and Cooper Holbrook scored 15 points against Nitro.
Team Trae Young Bates topped Platinum Elite (41-11), Oklahoma Wolfpack (59-36) and Team United Texas 55-43. Team Trae Young Tulsa Noah beat Oklahoma Wolfpack (56-54), Team United Texas (56-38) and AOH 2028 (50-49). Cameron Treadway scored 14 points in the win over Team United. Team Trae Young Tulsa Rod beat Platinum Elite (69-44), Nitro (54-43) and Tarrant Elite (46-20). Beckett Scooter scored 15 points in the win over Nitro.
