Two Team Trae Young teammates are on the short list of players being considered for the 2024 McDonald’s All American Game.

Doryan Onwuchekwa and Isaac WillIiams, teammates not only on Team Trae Young but at Texas’ Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy, were both listed among the candidates for the McDonald’s All-American Game boys roster.

Doryan, a Colorado commitment, has been dominating for Oak Cliff this season and recently earned prep Player of the Week honors from NBC DFW.

Isaac, who will attend Texas A&M Corpus Christi, has also been thriving for Oak Cliff, the two-time defending Texas State Champions as the 2024 postseason approaches.

The McDonald’s All-American Team has been around since 1977, with an All-American Game being played every year since 1978, with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID pandemic.

Trae Young was selected as a McDonald’s All-American and played in the 2017 game.

This year’s game will be played in Houston on April 2nd..

The 24 players selected to this year’s game will be announced on January 24 on ESPN.
