The second session of the adidas 3SSB season kept Team Trae Young close to home, taking place in Bryan, Texas, and a little home court advantage allowed some of Team Trae’s top talents to flourish.

At the highest level, the Team Trae 17U team had another impressive session, losing just once, a three-point defeat, while picking up three wins with an average margin of victory of more than 17 points.

The first of those came on Friday, when TTY dominated Team Loaded 77-57, led by the play of Bo Aldridge and Doryan Onwuchekwa.

After a slight setback early Saturday in a 75-72 loss to ASAK, they bounced back with a 77-50 win over Garner Road. Doryan continued to flash on Saturday, as did Dillon Battie.

They closed the weekend with yet another win, their most impressive of the season so far coming behind to defeat third-ranked Game Elite 81-76.

At the 16U level, Team Trae responded to a tough three-point session-opening loss on Friday by winning twice on Saturday, beating New World 62-53 and Jalen Green Elite 60-54.

Likewise, the Team Trae Young 15U squad bounced back from a couple tough losses on Friday to win their two games on Saturday and also walk away from the weekend with a split.

After dropping both their games on Friday, the 15s woke up on Saturday morning with a fresh perspective and wasted no time putting it on full display, defeating OSAG 75-42. They then followed it up by defeating Power5 in one of the highest scoring games of the session, 84-81.
