The first live period for adidas 3SSB of 2023 took Team Trae Young to Omaha and after a great weekend the 17U TTY squad left Nebraska unbeaten.

The impressive performance has Team Trae Young ranked seventh in the latest Hoop Hustlers 17U National Rankings.

Team Trae’s 17s started the weekend with a dominant 63-41 win over Arkansas Hawks on Friday. They followed that on Saturday with wins over Austin Rivers SE Elite (63-60) and Midwest Basketball Club (67-62).

Sunday’s finale was another hotly contested high-scoring battle with Compton Magic, and TTY prevailed 76-73.

Among the top performers for the 17s were Ketraleus Aldridge, who was named to the All-Event First Team Dillon Battie, who was named to the All-Event Second Team Carlsheon Young, who was named to the All-Event Third Team, as well as Isaac Williams and Doryan Onwuchekwa.

For the 16s, the highlight of the weekend was a 60-45 win over Game Elite on Saturday, with standout play from Cam Parker, Damario Adams and Tahsheim Gary all weekend.

Meanwhile, the 15s got another huge weekend from Bryce Dixon, who is quickly emerging as a top talent in the Class of 2026.
