Team Trae Young opened the 2023 adidas 3SSB Circuit season over the weekend in Dallas at the Duel in DFW and the 17U and 16U squads left Big D still unbeaten.

The 17s started the weekend with a dominant 76-60 win over AAO Flight PRO16 on Saturday afternoon. They followed that with a 68-58 win over Pro Skills on Saturday evening.

Team Trae’s upper class finished up on Sunday with a barn burner against TJ Ford Elite 3SGB. At the conclusion of a back and forth battle, Bo Aldridge tied the game to send it to overtime and Carlsheon Young sank the game-winner in OT to give the 17U TTY squad a perfect weekend in Dallas and send them home on a high of all highs.

Doryan Onwucheckwa led the way, earning 2nd Team All-Tournament honors for 2024.

Along with their excellent efforts to help make sure Sunday’s tournament finale was a victory, Young and Aldridge had standout weekends. Young earned First Team All Tournament honors for 2025 and Aldridge was an Honorable Mention for the 2025 team.

The Team Trae 16s also had a heck of a weekend, winning all three of their matchups. They defeated TJ Ford Elite by a score of 65-26 on Saturday morning, then dropped AAO Flight PRO16 55-34 on Saturday evening. The Team Trae 16s then finished the unbeaten weekend by winning the final game on Sunday, 61-26 over Drive Nation National.

Among the standouts for the 16s were Jax Kerr, Cason Brown and KJ Williams. Kerr earned Honorable Mention for the 2025 All-Tournament team.

The Team Trae Young 15U team also played at Duel in DFW, beginning the weekend with a 52-35 win over Crab5 UA Rise before a couple of hard luck losses to Texas Impact UAA and SA Future.

But it was a banner weekend for 14-year-old Bryce Dixon, who was named to the 2026 All Tournament Second team.
