The Team Trae Young 17U Girls Squad enjoyed a successful first session to the adidas 3SSB Circuit, racing out to a 3-1 record during the opening session in Spartansburg, South Carolina over the weekend.

TTY finished strong with three consecutive wins to close the session, after dropping their opener by just one point in overtime. A big part of that success was the play of two girls who popped up on the adidas 3SSB Girls 17U leaderboards.

Class of 2025 star Keeley Parks ranked sixth for the session in points per game with an average of 16.5 over the four games, and also added four steals per game to rank fifth. She is the only 2025 player to make the 17U leaderboard in either category.

Along with Keeley’s strong performance on offense and defense came a big session for Elle Papahronis on the glass, where she pulled down 8.5 rebounds per game to rank ninth.

Kayla Jones and Kiara Smith were also recognized for their performances during that session.

The 17U team’s only loss in the session came on Friday, in a hard fought battle with Hardwood Elite, who ultimately won 49-48 in overtime.

But Team Trae bounced back in resounding fashion on Saturday with a 47-45 win over FAM Premier 17U in the morning session.

They followed that thriller with a 54-49 victory over Central FL Elite in the afternoon.

The team’s most dominant win came in Sunday’s finale, where they beat Team Elite-Hubbard 45-36 to finish with a 3-1 mark for the weekend.

The Team Trae 16U squad was also in 3SSB action in Spartansburg, posting a 2-2 mark.

TTY 16U started things out with a monster win, defeating M-14 by a score of 64-45 in Friday’s opener. They had a tough day on Saturday, dropping both of their games, but they bounced back on Sunday with a 51-39 victory over Team Elite-Hubbard.
