The Team Trae Young 16U and 17U Girls Teams got their seasons started strongly over the weekend at Prime Event Texas in Mansfield, Texas. Both teams lost just once, to the eventual champions of their respective divisions.
Playing in the Black Division, TTY Girls 17U went unbeaten in pool play. On Saturday they defeated Texas Lone Star 53-37 and HG Elite 55-45. Sunday saw them finish pool play with a 39-31 win over North Texas Shockers. However, in the Black Division Championship match they lost to a tough Team Lex Nation squad, 51-39.
