Ahead of a busy summer for the two Team Trae Young standouts, Lee Dort and Noah Shelby took their official visit to Vanderbilt University this week.
Both Class of 2022 players committed to the Commodores back in April, and now that the NCAA has lifted restrictions on visits Vanderbilt wasted little time getting them through the door and rolling out the red carpet for the two Texas products.

“I think Vanderbilt was the best fit for both of us as far as the education, which is second to none, and the offense and the coaches, especially coach [Stackhouse],” Shelby said back in April. “I think it’s the best of both worlds … and we get to play in the SEC.”
“We have the chemistry and we’ve been playing together,” Dort added. “So I think it’s going to be really good for us.”
